Mother Bleeds to Death While Giving Birth to Child

Murphy, Falcon & Murphy represented the family of a young mother who died after giving birth to twin boys at Baltimore City Hospital in April of 2003. According to the autopsy report, she died of multiple lacerations (tears) of the cervix caused by an incision made by the surgeon during the delivery process. She was 34 at the time of her death, and was survived by her nine children.
