Young Man Suffers Fatal Illness During Jail Sentence

Murphy, Falcon & Murphy represented the family of a 19-year-old man who died while in the custody of the Department of Corrections in Hagerstown, MD. The victim suffered a horribly-painful death after fourteen days of constant complaints of stomach pain, which were ignored by correctional officers, the warden, and on-site medical providers. His death was entirely preventable.

The victim is survived by his wife and young daughter, who hired Murphy, Falcon & Murphy to file an action against the Department of Corrections and an independent on-site medical provider.
