On Monday, October 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Baltimore Bar Foundation and the Monumental City Bar Foundation will host a Joint Symposium on Diversity entitled, “Race and Gender: Embracing Diversity in the Legal Profession.”
The event will be held at the University of Baltimore School of Law in the new John and Frances Angelos Law Center, and promises to deliver some engaging presentations and discussions on inclusion within the legal profession.
Featured will be a panel of senior and managing partners from prominent local firms, who will examine the state of diversity and emerging trends from their unique vantage points. Among this esteemed panel will be Murphy, Falcon & Murphy’s own managing partner, Hassan Murphy.
The panelists will be in good company, with the keynote address scheduled to be given by former Congressman Harold Ford, Jr., a nationally-recognized speaker and frequent analyst on MSNBC. After the presentations, a VIP reception and networking event will be held, where, we hope, the discussion on advancing inclusion within the legal profession will continue.
The event is open to the public. To learn more and purchase tickets, click here.
