Partner Paula Xinis Makes New Jersey Law Journal & Hall of Fame for $5M Settlement
For Ms. Xinis, the recognition comes on the heels of the Black v. Lindenwold case, recently settled for $5 million in favor of the plaintiff, James Black. The 2010 case developed after the plaintiff suffered a brain-damaging stroke as he was attacked by a Lindenwold patrol officer’s dog. In collaboration with civil attorney William Buckman, Ms. Xinis brought the Lindenwold Police up on excessive force charges and succeeded, and ultimately brought justice to James Black and his family.
