PSC Adopts New Rules Intended To Prevent Accidental Electrocutions
Accidental electrocutions occur more than many people may realize. Thankfully, Maryland Public Service Commission has recently adopted new rules that are intended to help prevent this incidents from occurring. The changes come in response to the accidental death of a 14-year-old who was electrocuted while stretching on a softball field. PSC will now force state electric companies to not only find, but eliminate any dangerous contact voltage that is present in public objects. This can include anything from streetlights and traffic signals to playground equipment. Attorney William H.
